Empower. Educate. Inspire. The Women’s Leadership Initiative is hosting an exciting week of activities beginning on Sunday, February 22, that will conclude with a motivational Women's Leadership Conference on Friday, February 27.
Girls just wanna have fun, and the Women’s Leadership Initiative is giving women in PLV just that and more through a week of engaging and empowering programming. Starting on Sunday, February 22, drop by any of these events or activities around campus that lead up to the Women’s Leadership Conference on Friday, February 27. Don’t forget to show your support for Women’s Empowerment Week by signing the banner on display in Kessel on Thursday, February 26.

Miss Representation Film Screening

Take Back the Night

This event has been occurring worldwide since the 1960s and stands by its mission of ending sexual violence in all forms, including sexual assault, sexual abuse, dating violence, and domestic violence. Students will rally, paint, enjoy speakers, walk, and more as they empowers survivors in the healing process.
Consent is Sexy: A Conversation for Men

While the week is for the ladies, this event is an opportunity for men to participate in dialogue about their part when it comes to consent.
Women’s Leadership Conference

Join the Women’s Leadership Initiative for a day of redefining womanhood, featuring PACEtalks from fellow female Pace students, leadership workshops specifically designed for women, and a World Café Series hosted by the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute. The conference will provide you with the tools necessary to further establish your voice, acknowledge your power as a woman, develop a strong sense of self, and learn about the opportunities and challenges of becoming a woman in leadership.
