Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies will highlight environmentally-focused faculty accomplishments, research, and scholarship through print publications and Internet dissemination. Publication here will take various forms as appropriate and applicable. This electronic forum for publishing faculty and student work will serve to facilitate collaboration within Pace University, as well as communicate the University’s expertise to the larger academic and local communities.

A River's Pleasure
A River's Pleasure: Essays in Honor of John Cronin was published by Pace University Press (2009). In this collection of essays, a range of writers-among them scientists, activists, scholars and clergymen-describe John Cronin's life and work, offering a unique glimpse into his extraordinary contribution to protecting our water resources. "A River's Pleasure" was co-edited by Michelle D. Land and Susan Fox Rogers to commemorate Cronin's 35 years protecting the environment. Book contributors include legendary singer/songwriter Pete Seeger, The New Yorker profile writer Alec Wilkinson, environmental attorney Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., New York Times reporter Anthony DePalma, New York Congressman Maurice Hinchey, the Rev. Canon Jeff Golliher, children's book author/photographer George Ancona, and many others who have influenced or been influenced by John's work.
