Leaders In Industry

The Leaders in Industry speakers' series was developed in 2008 to provide a forum for engaging Pace University friends and alumni in thought-provoking discussions about critical business and social issues of the day.  This series highlights topics that are timely and relevant to the broader Pace alumni and business communities, and features guest speakers with widely acknowledged expertise in their respective fields.

November 10, 2009 - Leaders in Industry III: “Health Care Reform: The Experts Speak” with moderator President Stephen J. Friedman and guest speakers Steven J. Corwin, MD, Executive Vice President and COO of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Carol Raphael, Pace University Trustee, President and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Humphrey J.F. Taylor, Chairman of the Harris Poll, a service of Harris Interactive Inc., and Michael A. Turpin, Executive VP of USI Insurance Services.  To be held from 6:00 pm-8:30 pm at the Asia Society and Museum at 725 Park Avenue at 70th Street, New York, NY 10021.  This event is at capacity.

Health care reform will have a profound impact on the U.S. society and economy.  Pace University has assembled a distinguished panel of experts to share their unique viewpoints on the challenges of, and potential solutions to, this critical issue.
