Resource 25

As previously mentioned in July’s Opportunitas, Resource 25 is a new campus-wide event and class scheduling system that has recently been implemented at Pace University.

R25 will assist the university community by streamlining the way we schedule classes and events and reserve spaces on campus. It will also foster more efficient use of space and simplify space planning processes across campus.
 
One component of Resource 25 is a web-based calendar (Webviewer) that captures all campus events in one easily readable format shown below:

Effective Monday, August 17th the current event calendar will be disabled and we will be using the Webviewer to serve as the main event calendar for the university.  Users of the current event calendar (on the Pace web site) will be required to post event information through the Webviewer. 
 
The Webviewer has two primary functions – one being a calendar listing of events on campus and second to serve as the initiation point for anyone requesting event space on campus through the Event Request Form (link to the form will be located on the homepage of the Webviewer). 
 
To assist all event schedulers and/or department representatives with posting their events, we have established a series of training sessions for navigating the Webviewer and how to use the (Online) Event Request Form.  Note – this will also be the method for posting your events/announcements that may not require a space or may be held off campus (i.e. Alumni events, HR announcements).  We encourage you to attend one of the upcoming training sessions listed below.

The R25 implementation team has developed a web site with product information, the training schedules and guides, and the University’s approved policies and procedures for reserving space on campus.  The web site can be found on the Special Events homepage under the “Collegenet Series 25” section.
 
We are currently working on establishing annual new user and refresher trainings that will commence this fall.  Please check back to the web site for any updates to the training schedule.
