Spill Cleared Near Downtown Campus

New York City authorities have cleared a spill that took place early this afternoon near the downtown Pace campus at the intersection of William and Ann streets. The spill was determined to be not life threatening by the New York City Police Department, Fire Department, and Office of Emergency Management, but as a precaution, for a brief time the authorities ordered people leaving Pace downtown buildings not to return. As of 2:40 p.m. authorities gave the all-clear, the streets were re-opened, and University activities are proceeding as normal.
