Let us thank those who could not be here today..If it was not for their courage, lessons and mentorship, we would not be here today.
Congrats to all who were able to graduate and be part of the graduating class of 2009. There are some of us out there who may relate to this story. Some of us have sacrificed a lot to be here today. Some of us thought we were never able to get here today. As we look back on this day for the years to come, let us never forget how and why we are here today. We are here today to mark an accomplishment in our lives. We also give thanks to those who have sacrificed so much as they could not be here today. Let us take a moment of silence to remember those who were not able to make it here today be it a family member who we've lost, a friend, a fellow professor. Let their spirits guide us into the future ahead and let us never forget the lessons they've taught us. It is them who we look up to, that we give our thanks for why we are here today. Amen!
