Welcome to the Forensic Science Program on Pace University’s New York City Campus.
Our undergraduate and graduate program is distinguished from other similar programs because of its scientific rigor and organizational flexibility. It is supported by two strong academic departments, Chemistry and Biology, whose faculty members combine exceptional teaching skills and pioneering published research in their respective fields. They are top notch professionals in criminalistics, forensic chemistry and forensic biology.
We offer a Forensic Science BS and a Forensic Science MS.
What makes our program truly unique is its location in the heart of New York City. Our faculty members maintain full time affiliations with major forensic labs of local and federal law enforcement agencies, allowing them to bring the latest achievements of forensic science into the classroom, and bringing the students into the field, where the forensic labs become the classrooms, providing internships for graduate students and, in many cases, job opportunities after graduation.
In addition, our program has fully equipped facilities for forensic chemistry and biology including a new state-of-the-art DNA sequencing lab, and specialized labs for crime scene reconstruction, forensic microscopy, questioned documents and virtual crime scene reconstruction.
