Francis Marchese, PhD, makes his curatorial debut at the Pace Digital Gallery

Francis MarcheseFrancis "Frank" Marchese, professor of computer science, has served as co-director of the Pace Digital Gallery along with Jillian McDonald, associate professor of fine arts in the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, since its founding in 2003. With Professor Mcdonald on sabbatical, he is filling her shoes by curating the next exhibit, his first, called Digital Marginalia – Annotation, Illumination and Appropriation at the Pace Digital Gallery. The show explores artistic interpretation of words and imagery that appear as digital commentary on the Internet.
