Welcome to CTLT's Instructional Design Website
The Instructional Design team is a unit under the Center for Teaching, Learning, & Technology (CTLT). Instructional Design complements CTLT’s mission to provide the highest level of instructional design support for all online, web-assisted, or classroom-based courses. The Instructional Design team works extensively at both the program level and with individual faculty to develop effective learning environments, with a special emphasis on the successful integration of instructional technology.
We have put together some resources, which we hope you will find valuable in developing your online course materials. The links on the left are resources that include: A checklist of common practices when uploading materials onto Blackboard; A sample letter that can be used to make initial contact with registered online students; and an outline indicating various sections, which should be included when developing a syllabus for online instruction. If you have any questions regarding your online or web-assisted course and/or Blackboard, or to make an appointment to meet with us, please do not hesitate to contact one of us. We look forward to working with you.
