Scholarships and Assistantships
Available to Publishing Students
|
The M.S. in Publishing Program offers two assistantship positions:
Graduate Assistantship for the Publishing Multi-Media Lab and Graduate
Assistantship for the Pace University Press. The assistantships include
a credit component and stipend. The selection process is highly competitive
and requires a well-rounded knowledge of the layout and design software
currently being used in the publishing industry, namely, Adobe Photoshop,
Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Quark XPress. Both assistantships also
require skills in web design including but not limited to HTML.
Interested students should fill the “Graduate Assistantship Application”
form, which is included in the "Graduate Application Information" Booklet.
Applications should be mailed to the director of the MS in Publishing Program.
