Approach
A legal academic and English skills-based approach with legal content will be used to introduce prospective international graduate law students and lawyers to legal writing, reading, listening and speaking skills required for graduate law school in the United States. At the same time, this course builds on and reinforces skills acquired in the summer “English for Lawyers Program”, introducing new legal knowledge, vocabulary, and concepts, and, through a workshop approach, assists current international graduate law students in mastering challenging legal academic and language skills as they come up in the course of the academic year.
