Academics/Courses:
Many courses in the School of Economics and Law, Mannheim Business School, Faculty of Social Sciences, School of the Humanities, and School of Mathematicsand Computer Science are open to exchange students. The majority of the classes are taught in German, but a some courses are available in English.

Housing:
Students can apply for accommodation (apartment or dorm in the University of Mannheim student halls) only after they have been nominated by Pace University and completed the online application for acceptance into the program. All students who apply on time are guaranteed accommodation through the university. A deposit has to be paid before arrival. The monthly fee is directly debited from the student’s German Bank account every month. Students can also opt for independent housing (see links below).
The distance from student halls vary depending on the hall. Some are as close as 5 minutes away while others are 20 minutes by public transportation.
A housing deposit of approximately $530.00 USD will be due in order to confirm the accommodation prior to the start of the term, rent will be debited monthly from the student’s German bank account.

Costs:
Students will be billed directly from Pace University for their tuition, a special course fee of $200.00, and a $95.00 technology fee per semester.. All other costs will be billed separately from the foreign university. In addition to Pace tuition and the special course fee, students will be responsible for the following costs:

Health Insurance: $75.00 (monthly if your current insurance is not applicable)
Student service fee: $80.00

After acceptance, The University of Mannheim will communicate with students via E-MAIL prior to departure.

The University of Mannheim has an extensive internship database which exchange students can use. The University offers exclusive application training to all students intending to do an internship after their semester at the University of Mannheim
How to Apply to the University:
Once the University of Mannheim receives a nomination email from Pace University’s Study Abroad Office, the student will be contacted by the international office by email. This email will contain further instructions as well as the link to an online form which will need to be completed. Once the form has been completed, make a copy and submit it to the Study Abroad Office. A letter of acceptance will be sent out to the student and then he or she will be able to apply for accommodation.
