Code of Federal Regulations - Online CFR from the National Archives and Records Administration Office of the Federal Register, searchable back to 1997.

Electronic CFR - The e-CFR updates the CFR on a daily basis.  A compilation by the Administrative Committee of the Federal Register and GPO, it is not an official legal edition but is most current.

Federal Register - Begins with 1994, but advanced search available only back to 1995.  Volumes 1-70 (1936-2005) are available through HeinOnline.

Regulations.gov - Central web site that allows you to find, review, and submit comments on Federal regulations that are open for comment and published in the Federal Register.

RegInfo.gov (Regulatory Information Service Center) - U.S. government website produced by the Office of Management & Budget and the General Services Administration to gather and publish information on federal regulations

Research Guide to the Federal Register and the Code of Federal Regulations - Revised in 2003 and published by the Law Librarians' Society of Washington D.C.

U.S. Copyright Office - Copyright information, includes links to current issues and developments.

U.S. Federal Government Agencies Directory - LSU's directory of federal agencies.

U.S. Government Manual - Provides comprehensive information on the agencies of the legislative, judicial, and executive branches, and information on quasi-official agencies; international organizations in which the United States participates; and boards, commissions, and committees.

U.S. Patent and Trademark Office - USPTO web site, includes searchable patents database for patents from 1976 to the present.  Includes images of patents back to 1790.

Public Library of the Law - New Fastcase service, offers Supreme Court and Court of Appeals decisions, state case law beginning with 1997, statutory and administrative law, and forms.  Contains free and paid content.

Executive Branch

Executive Branch Resources - Official executive branch websites, including agencies.

White House - Press releases, news updates, issue papers, biographies and other information.

Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents - Contains statements, messages, and other Presidential materials released by the White House during the preceding week; from 1993 to the present. Replaced on January 20, 2009 by the Daily Compilation of Presidential Documents.

Public Papers of the Presidents - Beginning in 1991 with the papers of George H.W. Bush.

William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum - Archives of the Clinton administration.

Presidential Claims of Executive Privilege: History, Law, Practice, and Recent Developments - CRS report, April 16, 2008.

Presidents of the United States  - Biographies from the White House.

Results.gov - Redesigned to show Federal employees where and how their counterparts are making a difference.

U.S. Presidential Library on HeinOnline (Pace students, faculty, and staff only) has, among other things, the Weekly Compilation beginning with 1965 and the Public Papers beginning with Herbert Hoover.
