KC Trommer, University Relations, had her poems “Puncture” and “The Hasp Tongue” published in the journal Octopus Magazine, No. 10 in February. Trommer also presented a poetry workshop “Creating Imaginary Gardens with Real Toads,” featuring the videopoem “Shadowbox Suite,” to four 9th grade English Language Arts classes at the Academy for Young Writers in Brooklyn in February. In May, her poems “If I Stood and Watched Us” and “Shadowbox Suite” appeared in Coconut Magazine, No. 12. “The Hello Girls” appeared in Sunday Salon Magazine.
