Alumni on Facebook
Since 2001, Pace graduates worldwide have been able to network with each other online through the Pace Alumni Online Community (OLC). Over 15,600 alumni have registered to take advantage of this free online networking service. Pace alumni are also among the now-over 200 million people who use Facebook to regularly communicate and network with other alumni and friends online. As of November 2008, we are very pleased to offer the best of both worlds – you can now access the OLC directly from your Facebook account just by adding a new Facebook Application. Use your Facebook account to directly access the online directory, read or post a classnote, etc. Just ADD THE APPLICATION to your profile, then CONNECT TO THE OLC FROM YOUR NEW APPLICATION once via your unique username and password.
TO ADD THE APPLICATION
Click HERE, then click on the green "Sign Up" button or the "Go To Application" link in Facebook and login if prompted.
If you receive an "Allow Access" prompt, choose "Allow." This is common to all Facebook applications. You should now see the application on screen. To add it, choose "Bookmark" on the lower left of the screen (see screen SAMPLE)
TO CONNECT TO THE OLC FROM YOUR NEW APPLICATION
Click on one of the OLC links (ex. update your profile, etc.) and log in to the OLC using the unique username and password you chose when you registered to use the OLC. If this sounds confusing, you might be asking one of these questions:
"Register to use the OLC? How do I do that?" – Click HERE to Register.
"I'm already registered, but I can't remember the username or password I chose." - Click HERE to Recover your username or password.
Once you have taken the two one-time-only steps above, from then on, when you login to Facebook, you have immediate access to all the OLC networking features you'll need –
ONLINE ALUMNI DIRECTORY
ONLINE ALUMNI CLASSNOTES
ALUMNI DISCUSSION GROUPS
ALUMNI PERMANENT EMAIL FORWARDING
ALUMNI NEWS
