CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND HUMAN SERVICES

Professor Joseph Ryan and Professor Ida Dupont with 7th graders at UASCJG
On December 18, 2008, Criminal Justice Department Chair and Professor Joseph Ryan and Professor Ida Dupont visited with 7th graders at the Urban Academy School of Criminal Justice for Girls, to talk about the U.S. Constitution and how it relates to criminal justice students. The professors presented the students with copies of the U.S. Constitution on their Constitution Day.

The Department of Criminal Justice and Human Services is a vibrant and growing department with six full-time faculty members, many exciting courses and multiple opportunities for student involvement.

Students can major in one of two fields within the department: Criminal Justice or Human Services (which is offered only on the Pleasantville campus). To learn more about our course offerings, student clubs, and faculty, please click on one of the options listed to the left of this page.
