Getting to Know Pace

Pace University: More than 100 years of professional education, liberal arts learning, and practical experience.

Founded by two brothers, Homer and Charles Pace, Pace University has made professional education a priority since opening in 1906. What began as an accounting school has now blossomed into a top-notch institute for learning. With six colleges and schools, accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and more than 12,000 students studying in New York City and Westchester, Pace still maintains its commitment to practical education with an edge. From business to acting, Pace students study at one of two campuses and receive an education built on theory and grounded in reality. Pace understands that more than ever, students must receive more than just a diploma upon graduation. A Pace education ensures that students will also be exposed to every possible academic, personal, and internship opportunity available to them. Through our Cooperative Education and Career Services department, more than 1,000 students are placed in career-enhancing internships throughout New York City, Westchester, and southern Connecticut every year. Within our schools and colleges, dedicated faculty push students to work toward greatness every day.
