Student Employment Opportunities

The Center for Student Development & Campus Activities hires several different student positions throughout the entire year. These positions vary from student office staff to graduate students, but each staff member is an integral part of the office's operations. Students will gain an understanding of student activities and leadership opportunities, acquire office skills and competencies, and become familiar with countless programs on campus. Our student staff are part of the office family and have a unique opportunity to work for this fast-paced and high-energy office.

We typically hire the following positions:

Campus Activities Assistants (CAA)

Campus Activities Assistants are the office staff of SDCA. We hire approximately 8 students per semester and we prefer students to work for the office both semesters (when possible). These students act as the office liaisons between the professional staff and visitors/students in addition to assisting with campus activities and events. They traditionally are the information hub and the front desk, as they screen all incoming calls and questions from in and outside the Pace Community. This position is considered a programming ally for student organizations and the professional SDCA staff. CAAs are responsible for office hours within SDCA as well as assisting at events on/off campus (as needed). This position requires organizational skills, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to learn about programs hosted throughout campus in order to answer a variety of questions from students and visitors.

Please review the full job description for the CAA position.  Student who are interested in applying may do so beginning in August 2016 by going to careers.pace.edu and applying for the job online.  Students in this position must reapply for employment every fall. Any questions regarding this position and the hiring process can be sent to Christine Bogulaski, Coordinator for Student Development at cbogulaski@pace.edu or call (914) 773-3767.
