WSA Volume 9
Volume 9 of Woolf Studies Annual comprises Part One of “Virginia Woolf & Literary History,” edited by Jane Lilienfeld, Lisa Low, and Jeffrey Oxford. The eleven essays in this two-part special issue theorize new contexts and methods with which to reconsider Woolf’s historical analyses. Debates among the authors of these essays illustrate how contested and dynamic the understanding of literary history can be, an assumption central to Woolf’s re/vision of the terms “literature” and “history.” Volume 9 also includes essays by Natalya Reinhold, Amy Lilly, and Kathryn Simpson.
