
iPace Application Process
Application Deadlines:
All iPace programs can be started in either the fall, spring or summer semesters:
- Fall Semester: September 1st
- Spring Semester: January 1st
- Summer Semester: May 1st
Application Process
Step 1: Complete an application
- Click to access our online application system or complete a printed application and mail it to our Application Processing Center
- Complete all four sections of the iPace application
- Select "Submit application" to agree to the terms and conditions and proceed to payment/pay later
- Applicants with a fee waiver should answer "Yes" to the question, "Were you referred by a Pace University alumnus, faculty/staff member, or current student?" and enter the applicable referral code you were provided for the fee waiver to be applied
- Applicants will receive an email confirmation with directions on how to return to the application to check its status or to access it later for future completion
Step 2: Send the following documents to our application processing center
- A current copy of your resume
- Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Official transcripts from all postsecondary schools attended
- TOEFL / IELTS score report. Students with degrees from outside of the United States, where English is not the primary language, must submit a TOEFL/ IELTS score report of at least an 88 TOEFL- IBT/ 6.5 IELTS

Step 3: Track your application status
- Once all application requirements have been submitted and the application is complete, an admission decision will typically be made within 7-10 business days
Admission Requirements
- Students should have a minimum of 56 college credits completed
- Students with less than 56 credits should contact Admissions for information regarding pre-iPace eligibility, Experiential Learning credits and credit for CLEP exams
- Students who have earned an Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution may be eligible to apply all credits toward the prerequisite minimum of 56 credits and a maximum of 68 credits. All others will have transcripts reviewed to ensure successful completion of a minimum of at least 32 Liberal Arts and Sciences credits
- Courses must have a grade of C or better
- Some credits may not be accepted if earned over 15 years ago
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 for admission for all programs, with the exception of the BS in Nursing, which requires a minimum GPA of 2.75
- At least one credit-bearing college-level writing course or demonstration of writing ability through an examination provided by Pace University
Resumption of Studies Process
If you are a former Pace student and are interested in resuming studies (and changing your major) to the iPace program, you must have completed at least 56 credits to be considered. If you meet this requirement, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Click here to access the Resumption of Studies form and here for the Change of Major form
Step 2: Complete both forms and e-mail or fax them to the Program Advisor:

- BS in Nursing Program : Christopher Walther at cwalther@pace.edu
Step 3: The Program Advisor will determine eligibility to resume studies and contact the individual to discuss enrollment
