Student Tour Guide Profiles

Student Tour Guide- Caity GrandVictoria Keck, Nursing Major
Hometown: Wappingers Falls, NY

About Me:
I am a sophomore here at Pace. I lived on the Briarcliff Campus in Down Hall last year, and I am living on the Briarcliff Campus again this year in New Dorm. I absolutely love it here and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

Why did you choose Pace?
I chose Pace for a variety of reasons. Mainly, I chose Pace because they have a very unique nursing program. Pace gives nursing students the opportunity to start their nursing classes in their freshman year, so they can be in the hospital doing clinical their sophomore year.  They also have small classroom sizes, which gives students the chance to have one-on-one relationships with professors. Once I was on campus, I fell in love with Pace's atmosphere. There is such a sense of community on campus, which makes it so easy for students to make friends and get involved.

Jason NYCKristen Mita, Psychology major
Hometown: New Hampton, NY

About me:
I am a left-handed, sophomore, honors student living in New Dorm on the Briarcliff campus. I love theatre, photography, Disney, working with kids, and have recently developed a liking for Yoga. I hope to go on to Graduate school after Pace to pursue Psychology.

Why did you choose Pace?
I knew the people here would treat me as an individual and that they genuinely wanted to help me with whatever I needed. The Co-op program is wonderful, as is the Honors College. A lot can be said about the location as well; the different campus locations that give you access to both Westchester and the city are definitely a plus.

Cindy - NYCPatrick Corr, English major, Women and Gender Studies minor
Hometown: Weymouth, MA

About me:
I am a second year student from Massachusetts, and coming to Pace was really my first time away from the comforts of home for an extended period of time. Though I've only been here for a little over a year, I really cannot imagine being anywhere else. In my spare time, I like playing tennis, exploring town, and taking trips into the city.
