  1. How do I apply for admission to Pace?
     
To apply as full-time or part-time matriculated freshman or transfer, students must complete an online or paper application for undergraduate admission. For specific application instructions and deadline dates, please visit our Undergraduate Application Process website.
 
International undergraduate students should follow additional application procedures—as outlined on the International Admission website.
 
  1. Do I have to take the SATs or ACTs?
     
Yes. Pace requires prospective undergraduate students to submit SAT or ACT scores. If, however, you graduated from high school in or before 2008, you are not required to submit standardized test scores.
 
  1. What kind of grades or test scores do I need to be accepted to Pace?
     
When reviewing applications for admission, our Admission staff takes more than just grades and scores into consideration, they also look at your academic promise, progress, community involvement, and unique circumstances. Your essay is used to learn more about you as a person.
 
  1. Does Pace have an early action or early decision program?
     
Yes. Pace’s Early Action program is available to all fall applicants. To apply as an Early Action applicant, mark “EARLY ACTION” on the undergraduate application for admission, and have your complete application sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admission by December 1.
 
Early Action applicants are notified of their acceptance in early January. Those not accepted under the Early Action program will be reviewed again for regular admission.
 
  1. Are there any programs with special deadline dates?
     
Yes. Both the nursing and theater programs require applications to be submitted by specific deadline dates. For fall admission, all first-year and transfer theater applicants must submit the application for admission to the Office of Undergraduate Admission by January 15; all first-year nursing applicants must submit the application by February 15.   1. How much is the application fee?
     
The non-refundable application fee is $50, payable by check, money order, or credit/debit card payment with the application. Fee waivers are available through your high school guidance counselor office of the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
 
  1. Does Pace accept the Common Application?
     
Yes. Prospective undergraduate students may apply using the Common Application, as long as the mandatory supplement is filled out. You must complete the supplement and send it to the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Click here to download the supplement as a PDF file.
 
  1. What is Pace’s acceptance rate?
     
During the 2010 academic year, enrollment rates were:

  1. Does Pace accept AP or IB credits?
     
Yes. A score of 4 or better is required in all subjects, with the exception of computer science, which is applicable for credit with a score of 3 or better. For a list of details regarding incoming credits, please view the AP, College, and Summer Credits web page.
 
  1. I’m a transfer student. Will my credits transfer to Pace?
     
At the point of admission, your college coursework will be reviewed for transfer credit and you will receive a preliminary transfer credit evaluation in the mail. In addition, Pace has articulation agreements with certain schools and community colleges. A list of the agreements is available at the Articulation Agreement website.   1. Do theater applicants need to complete an audition?
     
Yes. The Office of Admission will notify students of the date of upcoming auditions once their application has been processed.
