At Pace, education goes far beyond textbooks and classrooms. Our campuses are a center of discussion and debate about many of the major issues of our time, as well as a forum for unforgettable cultural events. Here are some recent high-profile visitors to the Pace campuses.

Vice President Joe Biden chose Pace for a panel discussion on the status of the federal stimulus package.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre from London set up camp in the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts for its national tour of Love's Labour's Lost.
Jane Bryant Quinn, one of the country's most successful financial journalists, best-selling author, and a media commentator, was awarded an honorary degree and spoke at the Westchester Commencement Ceremony.
James McBride, best-selling author, award-winning composer, and accomplished musician, celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day with students on the Westchester campus.
The Economist's Buttonwood Gathering, also hosted at the Schimmel Center, brought financial leaders and visionaries such as Tim Geithner, Lawrence
Summers, and George Soros to Pace to discuss the current economic crisis.
Actresses Kate Hudson and Hilary Swank, musician Bon Jovi, and Avatar Director James Cameron were just a few of the celebrities making appearances on Inside the Actor's Studio, filmed at Pace.
Best-selling author of Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch Albom, introduced his latest book
and discussed themes of faith in a modern world.
New York Giants defensive end and Super Bowl XLII champion Osi Umenyiora talked to
students about the obstacles he overcame to get to where he is today. 
CNBC correspondent and Pace alumnus Charles Gasparino held a book signing and Q&A with Pace students as did New York Times reporter Andrew Ross Sorkin and CNBC's Maria Bartiromo.

This year's Left Forum, on the NYC Campus, featured Rev. Jesse Jackson, Noam Chomsky, and numerous academics, activists, lawyers, and educators.
New York Times science reporter Andrew Revkin lectures regularly on both campuses.
Funkmaster Flex, and other great names in hip hop, took Westchester by storm
as part of the Hip Hop College Concert.
Matthias Stausberg, spokesperson of the U.N. Global Compact, addressed students as part of International Education Week.
The New York Yankees won their 27th World Series Championship in 2009! Pace University was in the center of it all welcoming the New York Yankees into our backyard as they paraded down the "Canyon of Heroes."
