The Mission of the Provost
As the chief academic officer of the University, working with the President, the Provost shapes and implements Pace's educational philosophy and policies.
The Provost strives to make Pace University the leading comprehensive educational institution in the greater New York metropolitan area and an emerging leader in national and international academic arenas by providing high quality education programs to meet the current and future needs of traditional and non-traditional students.
The Provost leads programs, faculty and staff development; academic administration, planning and budgeting; collaborative outreach; teaching excellence, assessment and innovation; university-wide research and scholarship.
