About The Center for Literacy Enrichment
The Center for Literacy Enrichment was founded in 1972 as a Developmental Reading Program. During the beginning years, emphasis was placed on elementary level school children from the residential area of the White Plains. Over the years, it has developed into a literacy enrichment center, which challenges and caters to students from all over Westchester. The program is designed to enhance reading, comprehension, and writing skills.
The Center is staffed by certified teachers and has been providing literacy instruction for more than 36 years.
The Center offers:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Cost: $45/hour for private tutoring.
Program fees vary.
