The Administration, faculty and staff of the School of Education of Pace University proudly announce the continuing accreditation of its education programs by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
A special thanks to our students, alumni, partnership schools, public school colleagues and friends for supporting our education programs.

Robin Tewes, a graduate Student in the School of Education MST Program (Art Education) and Pace University Associate Adjunct Professor in the Fine Arts Department will be holding an Art Exhibition "Emerging Artists" for her 9th grade HS Students from the High School of Art & Design (New York City) at Pace University's Peter Figensten Gallery at 1 Pace Plaza, Lower Level, New York, NY from May 25-27.
The opening reception will begin on Friday May 25 from 3-7 p.m. and the gallery hours will be Saturday May 26 and Sunday May 27 from 1-6 p.m.

The School of Education is offering Summer 2012 Middle School Courses which could lead to obtaining an MS Certification with the completed coursework. Courses will be offered in June and July in Pleasantville.
Summer 2012 Middle School Courses Flyer
The School of Education is offering Literacy Education courses this summer. All courses may be applied to Pace University's MSEd in Literacy or the Advanced Certificate for Literacy (for those teachers who have already completed a prior master's degree in a field of education). The first three courses listed in the flyer compose the newly registered Advanced Certificate in Integrated Instruction for Literacy and Technology.

Faces of the School of Education
Kate Belfay graduated from the School of Education in Jan ’09 with a MST in Adolescent Education (Biology) as a NYC Teaching Fellow. Kate was a nurse before realizing that she wanted to become not just a teacher, but a good teacher.
SOE Associate Professor, Center for Literacy Enrichment Founder & Director, Sister St. John Delany, Ph.D., was featured in Pace University's 'Opportunitas' for her research on the brain differences of boys and girls.

Allyson Dyl is a senior SOE student-athlete who plays soccer for the Pace University Women’s team and is majoring in childhood education (math concentration). Allyson shares her experience with the SOE on the time-management skills she uses with such a busy schedule, her fieldwork experience in Education, and her passion to become a teacher. Read More
