Pace University School of Education is a vibrant community of learners committed to social justice, creating caring classrooms, and enabling all students to learn. We offer undergraduate and graduate teacher education programs on our Westchester and New York City campuses. Our programs are nationally recognized by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
The School of Education invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty member at Assistant/Associate level to teach in our outstanding undergraduate and graduate education programs in New York City and Pleasantville (Westchester County) campuses. All faculty may be asked to teach on either campus should enrollment or programmatic need arise. The primary focus of the search will be for faculty demonstrating experiential background and expertise in childhood/early childhood special education (primarily New York campus). However, consideration will also be given to dynamic, innovative individuals who have early childhood education credentials and experience as well as experience with on-line instruction.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a relevant doctorate (ABD candidates who will complete degree requirements by August 2014 will also be considered); a minimum of one complete year of teaching experience in a public or private school at the appropriate level; record of, and evidence of potential for continued scholarship and professional/community service commensurate with the rank of assistant, or associate professor.
