Environmental Law Program

Our History

Since 1978, Pace University School of Law has provided internationally acclaimed environmental legal education. We are proud hosts of a dedicated faculty who have been pioneers in developing and implementing environmental law and who continue to serve as national and world leaders in the field.

Our Vision

Pace Law School provides the best available legal training to educate and inspire the next generation of environmental lawyers to be effective counselors and advocates, conscious of their responsibility for the just stewardship of the Earth's resources.

Our Programs

On this website, you can find information relating to our diverse programs, both academic and professional.  Our talented faculty and staff teach over 35 courses on environmental law. We are home to several research Centers devoted to the study of issues ranging from Energy and Climate to Land Use Law and we have extensive options for students wishing to develop internationally and through on-the-job practical externships.  We hope this site provides you with the information you need; if not, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Learning and practicing environmental law requires close collaboration with ecologists and other environmental scientific specialists. Pace Law School's students and faculty work across disciplines with Pace University's graduate environmental studies faculty and students on a wide range of environmental issues. This film clip introduces the University's science programs.
