Moot Courts
Practice your persuasion
Moot courts are attracting attention as more law students in the US and abroad seek to gain honor, experience, and professional exposure by playing a key role in an intense legal battle. Moot court may be a competition, but it is much more than a game and considered a foundational component of a well-rounded legal education.
Today’s new lawyers are more likely than their predecessors to encounter complex legal situations that must be resolved across municipal, state, or national borders. Moot courts give law students opportunities to research and litigate advanced hypothetical problems, compete with a team against other student attorneys, and receive professional feedback on their performance by peers, faculty, and the moot court itself.
