INTRODUCTION

During the spring and fall semesters, the Law School runs a shuttle bus to and from the White Plains Metro-North train station.  The shuttle also provides transportation from the lower parking lots on campus to Ewers Quad.

The standard shuttle hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 7:50 AM-9:55 PM, and on Friday from 7:50 AM-5:25 PM.   Unless otherwise indicated, the shuttle operates only during orientation for first year students, when classes are in session, on study days, and during final examinations (in all cases, exclusive of the January Accelerated Program).  Extended evening service is provided during final exams as indicated below. Please consult the academic calendar.  The shuttle does not operate on Saturdays and Sundays, during semester breaks or during the summer months.

Shuttle service will resume for the Spring, 2012, semester on January 9, 2012.  From January 9 to January 13, service will begin with the regular 7:50 AM run to the White Plains/Metro-North train station, but will terminate on those days with the 6:05 PM run to the train station.

Regular scheduled service will resume on January 17, 2012 and continue until May 14, 2012.

In addition to the Law School/Metro-North shuttle bus, the University provides shuttle service at 10:35 PM from the Graduate Center on Martine Avenue in White Plains to the Law School campus, Monday through Thursday, when classes are in session at the Graduate Center, and also from the Law School campus to the University campus in New York City and in Pleasantville-Briarcliff.  Click here to view the University inter-campus Bus Schedule.

LAW SCHOOL/METRO-NORTH SHUTTLE BUS SCHEDULE

The first run of the day is to the White Plains Metro-North train station from the Law School campus at 7:50 AM.  The 8:26 AM shuttle from the train station will await the arrival of the 8:20 AM train from Grand Central Station in New York City.   The 9:25 AM shuttle from the train station will await the arrival of the 9:21 AM train from Grand Central Station.

*   On Fridays only, upon request, the 4:05 PM shuttle from the campus to the railroad station will drop off passengers at the Stop & Shop super market at 154 Westchester Avenue en route to the railroad station to enable student residents to shop. The 4:55 PM shuttle from the railroad station to the campus will stop at the super market to pick up student residents left there by the 4:05 PM shuttle.

On Fridays, service ends with the 5:25 PM shuttle from the train station to the campus, except on those Fridays when evening exams are scheduled. See "Extended Evening Schedule During Exams" above.

The Law School shuttle schedule has been designed with the assistance of students. We strive for a schedule that works well based on class schedules. Our drivers make every reasonable effort to stay on schedule at all times. Occasionally traffic or other conditions create delays.
