Alumni/ae Activity

  • Mary Curtin (MS/CS '92 and DPS), a long time alumnae activist, continued to serve as President of the Seidenberg Alumni Association.
  • This year, 26 Seidenberg alumni/ae from Westchester and southern Connecticut reconnected with Pace at a number of local alumni events. A total of 55 from across the country participated in events such as Reunion 2005, UFEST, and PANet receptions held in Maryland, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, California and Washington, DC. Steven Golikov (BS/CS '00, MS/IS '02) joined 28 other Pace alums at the Pace Alumni Adventure Weekend (P.A.A.W.) held in the trendy South Beach section of Miami, Florida in January.
  • The CSIS Alumni Association continued its tradition of presenting CSIS Alumni Achievement Awards at the annual CSIS Award Ceremonies held in both New York City and Westchester each May prior to commencement. The awards are given to an outstanding undergraduate and graduate student on each campus and are traditionally presented by a previous award winner. This year's presenters were Andreea Cotoranu (BS/IS '02) in Westchester and Mary Curtin, President of the Alumni Association, in New York City.
  • The CSIS Alumni Association once again cosponsored the Annual Award for Leadership and Service in Technology Reception, the School's major fund raiser. This year's event was especially significant because it marked the 10th year anniversary of Leadership and Service in Technology Award presentations. The honoree was Shaygan Kheradpir, CIO of Verizon Communications, Inc., who spoke on ?he New and Innovative Role of the CIO.?Proceeds from the fund raiser totaled $143,000, the most raised to-date for the benefit of the CSIS Endowed Scholarship Fund and other new initiatives.
