Daniel Farkas , Information Systems Chair/ Westchester , had his Letter-to-the-Editor titled “Do Not Try This in Class” published in The New York Times on Monday, January 24, 2005.

David Sachs , PhD, associate dean, was quoted in “Verizon offers grants for nonprofits,” an article announcing the $25,000 grant given by the Verizon Foundation to CSIS and the Westchester Not-for-Profit Technology Council, that appeared in the February 28, 2005 issue of the Westchester County Business Journal .

"NACTEL Expands to Meet Changing Needs," an article featuring CSIS' NACTEL online telecommunications degree programs , appeared in the February 2005 issue of IBEW Journal , a publication that reaches nearly 750,000 members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

An article titled "Cybertek's robotic Legos win the league" describing  the team's experience at the FIRST LEGO League Robotic Tournament sponsored by CSIS and held in Pleasantville on February 6 appeared in The Register Herald on March 3, 2005 .

Dennis Anderson , Associate Dean, was quoted in the Seattle Post  - Intelligencer on July 19, 2005 in an article titled "Gates Laments Decreasing Interest in Computer Science." Dr. Anderson was one of 350 faculty from 20 countries invited to attend the Microsoft Research Faculty Summit held on the company's Redmond , Washington campus.

Lara Lee , a graduate student in the MS in Information Systems program, was quoted in "Let's get ready to Roomba," an article on the iRobot Roomba Vacuuming Robot, that appeared in The Journal News on December 18, 2005. A photo of Lara and her robot accompanied the article.

Mirkeya Capellan , adjunct lecturer, was interviewed by CNN en Espanol on December 20 on the topic of  "Internet Development and Digital Convergence."
