Alumni/ae Activity
- This year, 65 Seidenberg alumni/ae from the tri-state area reconnected with Pace at a number of local alumni/ae events. They include the Madame Tussaud Wax Museum Reception, the First Entrepreneur Fair featuring 25 Alumni businesses, Reunion, University Fest, business networking and a number of cultural events.
- PANet receptions in California, Florida, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Westchester and Rockland Counties enabled Seidenberg graduates to reconnect with Pace.
- The Seidenberg Alumni Association continued its tradition of presenting Seidenberg Alumni Achievement Awards at the annual Seidenberg Award Ceremonies held in both New York City and Westchester each May prior to commencement. The awards are given to an outstanding undergraduate and graduate student on each campus. This year's presenters were Andreea Cotoranu (BS/IS '04) in Westchester and Mary Curtin (MS/CS '92 , DPS '06) in New York City.
- The Seidenberg Alumni Association once again cosponsored the Annual Award for Leadership and Service in Technology Reception, the School's major fund raiser. This year's event was especially significant because it coincided with the University's Centennial Celebration. The honoree was Austin A. Adams, CIO, JPMorgan Chase. Ivan G. Seidenberg, Chairman and CEO of Verizon Communications, Inc. and benefactor of the school, was guest speaker. Kurt Woetzel, executive vice president and CIO of Bank of New York, chaired the event. The event generated $215,000, the largest amount raised to-date.
