“The overall experience was Amazing, Unbelievable, Awesome!"
"I was surprised that it was so much fun. The experience exceeded all of my expectations. I would definitely recommend the program to a friend. Being able to tour NYC, meet the CEO of Verizon, meet a group of computer science peers just like myself and see the Blue Man Group all for free was priceless.”
“Professor Hill, the "director of fun," fully met his job description. It was a fantastic experience to co-mingle with so many other bright people among the program participants, Pace students, and faculty. These people immersed into the program itself which had us working together was also a huge part of what made the experience so great. Throw in the fact that this all took place in New York, the city of cities, and you have what is perhaps an unbeatable 4 days.”
“I enjoyed the Seidenberg Scholars Summer Experience. There was always something interesting planned and something new to learn. I was most surprised that we got so much done in such a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend this program to others because it was a lot of fun and a great learning experience!”

“My Seidenberg Summer Scholars Experience completely changed my life! It allowed me to explore the city that I had always dreamed of and introduced me to amazing people and experiences. It pushed me to further explore the field of Computer Science and without it I would not be the person that I am today.”

“Summer Scholars definitely was the deciding experience for me in coming to Pace University, not because of the technical project experience I got, but because of the fun time I had in New York with other kids like me in CS!”
- Danniel Rings, ‘09
“I got to spend a week exploring the tech scene of NYC with the smartest, friendliest students from all around the country who shared so many interests with me! I found a family at Seidenberg, and decided to apply to Pace University. I am a current student, and have taken advantage of countless more amazing opportunities here!”

Dear Mr. Seidenberg:
I have just finished watching the Blue Man Group on DVD (I rented it) and was once again reminded of the amazing time I had in New York City at Pace University. I did send you an email right after I came home, but I wanted to let you know again how unbelievable the opportunity was for me.
I have always known that I wanted to study Computer Science, but until I got your flash drive in the mail, had never heard of Pace University. It is a very cool place in an amazing city and I was very happy to have been a part of this experience. I appreciate the opportunity you have given to me and to my fellow classmates and I am happy to let you know that Pace University is now on my short list of prospective colleges.
Thank you again,
Elkins Park, PA
"I believe that the Seidenberg Scholars Summer Experience was very positive for my son, Jeff Marvin. It was an amazing opportunity to spend five days in New York City doing something he loves ? anything involving computers! Jeff has known since he was four years old that he wanted to study/work with/play with computers and this program was right up his alley. Also, to combine his two big addictions ? LEGOS and computers ? how perfect! "
"He just could not say enough about all the positive experiences he had enjoyed from the Blue Man Group (he just ordered their video) to the trip to Pleasantville (he was still talking about it at dinner on Sunday). He even learned some valuable lessons about having roommates and how to get along with people who are different than you. And, he even told me that if he goes to Pace, which side of the dorm room he would choose!"
"I again want to thank you and all of your staff for such a valuable and positive experience for Jeff."

"My son, Kevin Greene, came home very confident, brimming with smiles, and full of stories about the week. He had a wonderful time. This was the first time he had been completely on his own. He enjoyed being able to talk with other kids that had the same interests as he did! He said it was like walking into a room with instant friends.
"I appreciated the fact that he was in a safe environment in which he was challenged. I also loved that he was shown the great city of New York."
