Format and Schedule

A program designed to accommodate professional careers and busy lifestyles.

Weekend format

The Doctor of Professional Studies in Computing accommodates the crowded schedules of successful computing and information technology professionals by limiting the frequency of campus visits while providing continual on-line communication with the program, its faculty, and other candidates. All meetings take place at the Pace University Graduate Center, One Martine Avenue, White Plains, New York. With the exception of the OO/Agile/Java workshop and the four day first week, the meeting times are Friday, 5:00–9:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

During the first year of the program, students are on campus five weekends in each of the fall and spring semesters and four times in the summer semester. In the second year there are five weekend meetings in each of the fall and spring semesters and one in the summer. During the third year students are on campus three Saturdays in each of the fall and spring semesters.
