Pace Global Fellows

Pace's Global Fellows program is a selective study abroad program focused on internships or research with community engagement. As a Pace Global Fellow, you will be immersed in the culture and language of the host country, living and studying among the local communities. However, you do not need to have prior language training.

What sets Pace Global Fellows programs apart?

  • All students are required to learn the local language through one of their courses
  • Most programs are homestay accommodation
  • Challenging academic course work including learning how to conduct research and work within the field. Note: all programs have prescriptive course work
  • Competitive entry with 10 openings for Pace students per semester
  • Hands-on experience in issues and opportunities of international development
  • Resume-enhancing skills and experiences that benefit students applying to graduate school or prestigious fellowships such and U.S. Students Fulbright or Pace Honors Thesis

What are the application requirements?

  • 2.5 GPA
  • Statement of Purpose Essay (500 words or 1 page, max) The Statement of Purpose Essay is to personalize your application. When composing the Statement of Purpose Essay it is important to address the impact the Pace Global Fellows program will have on your academic, professional, and personal goals.

Applicants who are U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to apply to national scholarships relevant to their program.

Other requirements?

  • Community Engagement upon return.

All students who are accepted into the Pace Global Fellows program are required to present and share their experiences with the Pace community through the Pace Education Abroad office.
