Westchester school districts eagerly hire Pace grads, and there are good reasons why.

First, our student teachers already know area schools. Pace student teachers work in Mt. Pleasant, Pleasantville, Valhalla, Tarrytown, White Plains, Briarcliff Manor, Somers, Rye, and Ossining, among other school districts.

Second, our students are trained to be leaders in education and agents of change. They are eager to introduce new and more effective educational methodologies.  Their commitment to student success in the classroom is second to none.

Pace also makes it easy for teachers to pursue graduate degrees while working full time. For example, Michelle Darcy, a math teacher at Westlake High School in Thornwood, is pursuing a Master’s in Special Education at Pace. She applies her new skills in her classroom.
