The Wilson Center is recognized by Ashoka, Echoing Green, and the US Department of State as a thought leader in best practices in social enterprise and entrepreneurship.  Executive Director Rebecca Tekula is on the Executive Committe of the Academy of Management (AOM) Public and Nonprofit Management Division.  Currently she serves as membership chair, and from 2013 to 2016 will serve as Communications Officer.  The AOM is a professional association of over 18,000 scholars of management across many different categories.

Conferences and Events

Conferences and speaking events provide the Center with a platform to foster critical conversations with key stakeholders throughout the year.

Pace Hitachi Nonprofit Forum: This annual free educational forum held at the White Plains campus hosts over 150 attendees each year and is underwritten by Hitachi America, Ltd.  A significant number of students attend this event, and a career networking luncheon is served for students, alumni, and employers.

Not-for-Profit Leadership Summit: The Wilson Center is a co-sponsor of this full-day annual gathering of over 700 nonprofit leaders in Westchester. Keynotes include attorney generals and state senators.  All Pace University students are invited to attend for free.

U.S. Department of State Social Entrepreneurship Panel: Each year the Wilson Center leads a panel or course on social entrepreneurship for international delegates through the State Department Visitors Program.  Up to 90 delegates attend each year.  Past panelists have included Acumen Fund officers and Pace Faculty.
