Doctor of Nursing Practice, DNP

A CAREER BASED IN CARE AND LEADERSHIP

With a Doctor of Nursing Practice, we’ll prepare you to be a clinical leader in primary health care.

Our DNP program prepares advanced practice nurses to provide dynamic clinical leadership through culturally competent, evidence based practices, and clinical innovations directed at improving health care quality. You will, through a mentored team approach, apply what you learn to your DNP capstone project through clinical partnerships with institutions such as SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center, The Mount Sinai Hospital, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, and White Plains Hospital.

Plus, our unique executive format allows you to maintain your career trajectory while completing your degree over three years with five on-campus meetings per semester.
