What hotel accommodations are available near campus?

Is there parking available on campus?

There is plenty of free parking available on our campus. Upon arrival, visitors should enter campus through Entrance #1 or Entrance #2 and proceed to Parking Lot F. There will be Pace students and signage directing you to the appropriate parking areas.

FAQ about staying overnight

What does the overnight program include?

After spending the day at Pace, enjoy an evening full of fun activities with your future Pace classmates. Once the PaceBound day program ends, students will get to experience life as a Pace student on our campus. PaceBound attendees will get to dine in the cafeteria, hang out in our student center, and enjoy different activities such as games, DJ, movies, hands-on DIY projects and more.

What time does the overnight program end?

The PaceBound overnight program will end at 8:00am. A light breakfast will be served for attendees.

What do I need to bring?

  • completed permission waiver (PDF) (to be filled out prior to attending)
  • sleeping bag
  • pillow/pillowcase
  • extra set of clothes for Monday
  • pajamas
  • cell phone
  • portable or external charger and charging cords (please note there is limited access to outlets during the program)
  • toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash etc.
  • snacks
  • medication (W/RX i.e. Tylenol, asthma medication, etc.)
  • extra money
  • book/magazine/mp3 player

What type of food is offered for students staying overnight?

Students will have the opportunity to eat on campus in our dining facilities. Dinner will be provided by the PaceBound program as well as late night snacks. Cafe 101, Pace’s main dining facility on campus, offers salad bar, hot buffet-styled bar, soup, chili, Asian cuisine, pasta, sandwiches, sushi, pizza, and more. Kosher, Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-free options are also available. A light breakfast will be provided the following morning. 

Where will students sleep?

Students attending the overnight program will sleep on campus in communial spaces. Attendees will be provided cots but are required to bring sleeping bags, pillows, and any other necessary bedding.

Will there be access to showers?

Students will have access to bathrooms across campus during the duration of the programming. Bathrooms are a short distance from the sleeping spaces and have toilets and sinks, however, students will not have access to showers.

Should students need to bring money?

While lunch, dinner, and breakfast are included, we recommend students bring money in case they’d like to purchase anything outside of what is offered at the overnight program.

What if someone gets sick or injured?

Overnight attendees will have a team of trained professional staff members and student hosts to assist them in the case of injury or illness. In case of an emergency, university staff will be present and available for assistance throughout the duration of the overnight program.

What if there is bad weather?

The PaceBound overnight program will take place rain, snow or shine. Some activities in the program will take place outdoors, so please bring appropriate outdoor attire in case of rain or snow.
