Cut Through Complexity at One of the "Big Four"
KPMG is one of the largest professional services companies in the world and one of the “Big Four” accounting firms. KPMG International’s member firms have 145,000 professionals, including more than 8,000 partners, in 152 countries. KPMG delivers a globally consistent set of multidisciplinary services in audit, tax, and advisory capacities.
For the last 16 years, KPMG has been named to the top 10 of Working Mother magazine's “100 Best Companies” list and was named as Sustainable Firm of the Year by the International Accounting Bulletin, among many other accolades and awards.
In the past year, KPMG has filled 20 internship positions with Pace students from a variety of majors, including both general and public accounting, finance, and taxation. But Pace’s connections to KPMG don’t just end there. Each year, the Pace University chapter of Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) participate in KPMG’s International Case Competition, a fast-paced competition that mirrors the business challenges KPMG audit, tax, and advisory teams handle every day.
For the Pace alumni who go on to work at KPMG, the education they received while at Pace is invaluable to their careers. Sandre Moon ’08, ’12, an auditor at KPMG, says “Pace provided me with the knowledge to begin a career in public accounting as an auditor. I hope to one day operate my own business as a CPA, teach accounting to high school students, and serve my people and the Navajo Nation (my tribal affiliation) with the education I have obtained while attending Pace.”
