PAS 609 SURGERY & TECHNICAL SKILLS I
Course Description: This is the first in a two semester sequenced course providing instruction in management of patients during the perioperative course as well as the indications, contraindications, equipment, technique and potential complications of surgical and technical procedures encountered in the practice of medicine and surgery. Emphasis is placed on common issues encountered in managing the care of surgical patients and on common procedures performed in the course of practicing medicine, as well as the theory and practice of these procedures.
