CHP Scholarship Day:To learn about Scholarship Day, check out this booklet of all the posters presented, highlighting the Best Student Posters in each program, and recognizing CHP faculty who received the 2018 Dean’s Awards. Exemplifying this year’s “Promoting a Culture of Health and Improving Health Outcomes” theme, not only did many students present posters featuring innovative scholarly projects, but an inter-professional group of CHP students shared what they learned in CHP study - abroad program in Costa Rica about different health care systems, practices, and cultures. Undergrad nursing students presented their learning experiences from their international clinical rotation in India during the winter intersession. These latter projects underscore ALPS’ commitment to offering a growing array of affordable global and “glocal” opportunities to help all students enhance cross- cultural understanding and develop cultural competence.
