  • Haiti Sans Cervical Cancer (NGO) [Committee Member]
  • Promoting Health in Haiti (NGO) [Volunteer International Faculty]
    Desc: I teach prenatal & postpartum care, lactation, and emergency birth for the Family Nurse Practitioner.
    Committee's Key Accomplishments: Two cohorts of FNP students have graduated (34 students in total). Four of the PHH graduates are the first practicing FNPs in Haiti.
  • New York State Action Coalition-Nurses on Boards Initiative [Committee Chair]
    Desc: Coordinate NYSAC-NOB activities and run monthly meetings to achieve our goal of contributing to 10,000 nurses on U.S. boards by 2020.
  • "ACA: A Town Hall" Planning Committee [Committee Chair]
    Desc: I conceived of and coordinated this public service initiative, the goal of which was to inform the local community about the ACA and registering on the State Exchange. I solicited partners from Pace University, CHP (including DNP students), New York State and Westchester County
    Committee's Key Accomplishments: The ACA: A Town Hall was a successful initiative, which although not optimally attended, was extremely well received and deemed a success.
