Randolph Gross

In his fourth decade as a professional nurse, Dr. Gross currently teaches in the undergraduate studies department of the Lienhard School of Nursing. He is based on the NYC campus. He teaches both traditional (RN4s) and accelerated students, and his courses include Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, PathoPharmacology I and II, and/or Principles of Therapeutic Communication. The majority of his clinical work has focused on adult oncology, specifically women with breast and/or gynecologic cancers. Prior to coming to Pace University in 2017, Dr. Gross worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for 23+ years as a Clinical Nurse II, III, & IV, Clinical Nurse Specialist, then Nurse Practitioner. He currently maintains clinical practice on a per diem basis at the Adult Infusion Center at NYP Columbia Presbyterian's Irving Cancer Center. His research interests and trajectory focus on: 1) stereotypes in nursing & healthcare, 2) health disparities in LGBT+ populations, and 3) medical cannabis education for healthcare professionals.
