Biography


Dr. Lee is founding director and assistant professor of the developing Occupational Therapy Program, College of Health Professions, Pace University at Pleasantville campus. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Chiang Mai University and a Master of Science degree in Anatomy from Mahidol University, Thailand. She received her Master of Arts degree in Advanced Occupational Therapy in Developmental Disabilities/Pediatrics and a Ph.D. degree in Advanced Occupational Therapy, both from New York University. Prior to joining Pace CHP faculty in summer 2017, Dr. Lee had taught in Occupational Therapy programs for nearly 20 years in both traditional and blended formats and held an OT program director/department chairperson position for 2 years. She had served as an exam item writer for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT®) for 7 years. Dr. Lee's research interests are in the areas of visual perception, handwriting, and mobile technology in children with special needs. She has published her studies in peer- reviewed journals and presented at state, national, and international professional conferences. Dr. Lee's clinical focus has been Pediatric Occupational Therapy. She currently maintains her clinical practice as a pediatric occupational therapist and evaluator in NYC. Dr. Lee is certified in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California and Western Psychological Services (USC/WPS).
