Financial Planning is one of the fastest growing career paths and the CFP® certification is one of the most recognized and sought-after certifications. Pace University's Financial Planning Certificate Program is recognized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Our program meets the educational requirements set by the CFP Board and prepares students to take the national CFP® Certification Examination. 
There are seven required courses within the program:  Fundamentals of Financial Planning; Insurance Planning; Investment Planning; Income Tax Planning; Retirement Planning & Employee Benefits; Estate Planning; and Capstone in Financial Planning.

Course Description

The Fundamentals of Financial Planning class is recommended to be taken first as it provides a comprehensive overview of critical topics in the field of financial planning, such as data gathering, processing and analyzing information, making recommendations, and writing, implementing, and reviewing a plan.

This certificate program is designed to fulfill the educational requirements necessary to sit for the Certified Financial Planner™ certification examination.

One night a week for 11 weeks. 6 pm – 9:30 pm, unless otherwise noted.
