The Counseling Center offers several groups addressing a variety of topics led by therapists in a confidential setting. All of our groups require a pre-group meeting with one of our therapists. Understanding Self and Others
This group addresses a variety of concerns including your relationships with others and with yourself. This group provides the unique opportunity to receive multiple perspectives, support, encouragement, and feedback from up to eight members and one or two therapists in a safe and confidential environment. These interpersonal interactions can help to deepen your level of self-awareness and to learn how you relate to others. You can also read more about what a psychotherapy group offers.

Stress Management Group
This group rotates through 6 weeks of topics that teach skills for managing stress, depression, and anxiety. This group is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and structured more like a class than a psychotherapy group. Through this group, you will learn concrete ways of relating differently to challenging thoughts or feelings that often get in the way of living a fulfilling productive life.

2- Session Assertiveness Workshop
This workshop consists of two 45-minute Friday sessions during which you will learn assertiveness skills that will help you ask for what you want, set boundaries, and say no in relationships and other social interactions. The group is led by two therapists and provides a safe and confidential environment. Attendance of both sessions is highly encouraged.
