Annual Award Ceremony 2020
Class of 2020!
Dear Dyson College Class of 2020 Award Recipients,
Congratulations on your academic achievements as a Dyson College major!
Nearly 600 individual awards* were earned by Dyson students at the University, College and Departmental levels this year. These achievements illustrate the commitment and engagement of Dyson students in their academic disciplines as well as serving the Pace and surrounding communities during their tenure at the University. The Dyson College faculty and staff are extremely proud of all you have done, as are your family and friends. We wish you every success in the future and know that the skills you honed earning these awards will serve you well.
I am glad we have this opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments even though we cannot do so in-person. Despite this, we want you to know that we share in the joy and pride that you feel for all you have achieved. Your perseverance, drive, and dedication to excel during the pandemic have been remarkable, and we want to recognize you for your success, particularly during this difficult period.
I hope that you stay in touch with Pace as alumnae/i. We would enjoy hearing from you as you embark on your career or continue your education in graduate studies. I encourage you to stay connected with your department, faculty, as well as with our current students, and come back to campus often. You are an important role model and your continued successes as alumnae/i will inspire future students at Pace.
Stay optimistic, stay safe and your future will stay bright. I want to wish you the very best in all your future endeavors!

* Note: The final determination for Latin Honors will be made after all grades from the spring 2020 semester are officially posted. However, for our purposes today, we have grouped students according to the Cumulative Grade Point average at the end of the Fall 2019 semester. To be eligible for Latin Honors, students must have completed a minimum of 60 undergraduate credits at Pace University, with a minimum QPA of 3.5. Those students with less than 60 Pace credits will graduate With Distinction.
