15 credits - New York City and Westchester Campuses
The environmental studies minor is an interdisciplinary concentration that encourages students to design their own course of study from a wide variety of subject areas that complement their major.
12 credits - New York City Campus
This is a 12-credit minor in Sustainability, focusing on urban areas and industrial issues such as urban ecology, transport, energy, economic development and technological innovation. Explore the policies and projects that help us achieve a more sustainable world.
15 credits - Westchester Campus
If you are interested in a career in the environmental field where you will be working with plants or animals, protecting habitats, or educating the public about the environment, this program will provide you with the specific skills employers are looking for. It consists of 5 classes, all of which qualify as major electives for the BA or BS degrees (classes can also count towards graduate degrees).
18-20 credits - New York City and Westchester Campuses
Through foundational biology courses (BIO101 and BIO102), students demonstrate the scientific method by designing experiments, analyzing data, and evaluating and interpreting results.
